Ellie

Adopted from Toronto Animal Services at the age of two, Ellie is the reason why MDA exists. It was the connections built through her at the Cornell Dog Park in Markham, Ontario that led to the large-scale dog-friendly events that we have today.

When Greg first brought Ellie home, Ellie was wearing a purple leash. Now you see the colour in our logo, banners, social media posts, and even this website. It's also the reason why our social media posts start with a purple heart - because that's where MDA started, with Ellie. 💜

Legon & Linda

Adopted from Free Korean Dogs, this brother and sister duo travelled far from South Korea to find their forever home in Markham as MDA's CEOs in training. Legon, giving off lottery-vibes as the calm, friendly and quiet dog of the household, balances Linda's rambunctiousness and curiosity for life.

Although they have endless love for dogs, and humans alike, they tend to think unfavourably of their four legged counterparts, squirrels.
